Here is a necklace made with a cabochon of Stefoinite Jasper, which is very, very rare. This stone was discovered in Wyoming by a man named Rudy Stefoin, probably back in the 1950’s, and he took its location to the grave with him. Stefoinite is a brecciated jasper and it is a warm caramel brown with dark brown to black webbing and bluish agate veins running through it. This 30mm by 40mm cabochon is completed with long, showy fringe, 5” at the longest point, highlighted with Swarovski crystals. The necklace is 24” long, including the button and loop closure, and made with Smoky Quartz rectangles and faceted Smoky Quartz beads in graduated colors.
