Two 13mm banded Agate tube beads accent the ends of this 26 ½” necklace, which is completed by a metallic bronze glass bead loop and 17mm vintage deep brown button. Volcano Cherry Quartz (1vcq1)
Volcano cherry quartz (glass) beads have wonderful swirls of color, almost like tiger-eye or cats-eye marbles. These are free-form rectangles, about 17mm by 20 mm in size, with a neat twist and some faceting. They range in color from pink to sparkling clear, with smoky plumes in tan and brown. This necklace is about 25 ½” long, including the vintage button and loop closure. It is accented with Swarovski crystal bicone beads, faceted bronze glass accent beads and freshwater pearls.

Here is a necklace made with a cabochon of Stefoinite Jasper, which is very, very rare. This stone was discovered in Wyoming by a man named Rudy Stefoin, probably back in the 1950’s, and he took its location to the grave with him. Stefoinite is a brecciated jasper and it is a warm caramel brown with dark brown to black webbing and bluish agate veins running through it. This 30mm by 40mm cabochon is completed with long, showy fringe, 5” at the longest point, highlighted with Swarovski crystals. The necklace is 24” long, including the button and loop closure, and made with Smoky Quartz rectangles and faceted Smoky Quartz beads in graduated colors.
Split loom Southwest pot necklace (5pot1b) SOLD
A Pueblo Indian pot was the inspiration for this necklace. Using a photograph of the pot, I graphed a design that pays tribute to the beauty of the original pot, in shades of cream, rust and black. It is finished with long, flowing fringe, including 30mm matte copper glass bugle beads and amber chips. The entire necklace, with the exception of the fringe, was made on a loom, and also features sections beaded in a dramatic geometric design in cream and black, as well as another area in rust, black and cream, backed in leather, at the back of the necklace.

It is 45mm long and 26mm wide at the widest point, beaded in colors to bring out the natural beauty of the stone and finished with long fringe, 4” at the longest point.
